“I have been suffering from bullying for a long time, not only from school but also from my friends, relatives and my mother’s acquaintances, due to the irregular shape of my teeth.
My teeth were very small and had large distances between them. Despite this, they were somewhat regular, but their appearance was strange and destructive to the psyche for sure. I was very ashamed of my mouth and the appearance of my teeth on any occasion.
It got worse in middle school and high school, especially with slurred speech and sprays flying out of my mouth when speaking. All of this and many situations made me a very shy person and very, very introverted. When I was in high school, I decided to push me to search for an orthodontic center in an area close to I live in Sharjah, and that’s when I arrived at the Basma Al Hayat Center.
That was about three years ago, and in the beginning, before my experience with orthodontics and my experience with Hollywood Smile, I was so desperate and so nervous that I wanted permanent dentures and did not imagine that there were very strong and effective solutions.”
