What is PRP?

What before injection?
The doctor give you some information about how to prepare for the injection which include:-

How to get PRP ?
- The doctor draws blood from your arm about 2 to 4 syringes .
- Then the blood is transferred to the blood laboratory and placed on a medical device called a centrifuge that isolates blood components including plasma and platelets.
How to inject PRP ?
- The doctor clean and disinfect the skin well ,and if the injection is into the scalp it need to wash the hair well and he should take care to dry it well .
- Then he will apply a local anesthetic for about 30 minutes before injection to the area which will be injected .
- Then the doctor inject the PRP into the skin or to the scalp by using microneedle .
- The doctor may use a visceral substance with PRP to treat scars and tightening flabs for best results.
- This operation takes about 30minutes to one hour according to the size of the area needing to be injected .
How long does it take to see results ?
- If the doctor inject the PRP efficiently ,the results usually appear within a few weeks to one month if the injection was in the skin ,but if it was in the scalp it takes 3to 6 months to see results .
